Twin Pomegranates Expands Distribution

Twin Pomegranates, a Madera winemaker that uses the Asiatic fruit in its vino, cut deals to expand its distribution in Save Mart and Lucky’s grocery stores.

Locations that will stock the company’s wine range from Chico to Bakersfield in the Central Valley and stores in the San Diego and Reno, Nevada areas.

“In a little over a year we are exponentially growing our distribution throughout the state,” said Daniel Bonilla, sales manager for Twin Pomegranates. “People are attracted and receptive to a new taste for their palate. There is a bright future for pomegranate wine as it eventually expands its availability.”

The company, which began retail sales about 17 months ago, makes a 100% pomegranate wine, a sparkling version and a white wine blend.
